Beliau juga adalah penyelidik di Fakulti Bioteknologi & Sains Biomolekul, UPM. Kepakaran beliau adalah dalam bidang bioremediasi dan biokimia persekitaran. Beliau banyak menerbitkan penyelidikan yang berjaya menyahtoksin kawasan-kawasan tercemar seperti pencemaran logam berat, racun dan lain-lain.
